Dr. Faowaz Al-Shammary is an experienced emergency medicine physician and clinical leader with extensive expertise in emergency care, emergency department operations, patient safety, and multidisciplinary team leadership. He currently serves as Head of Emergency Medicine at The View Hospital, overseeing the delivery of high-quality acute and emergency care within a fast-paced tertiary healthcare environment.
Dr. Al-Shammary is focused on enhancing the patient journey from the moment patients arrive at the Emergency Department, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient care followed by appropriate management and follow-up. His clinical interests include acute cardiac and respiratory emergencies, geriatric trauma, difficult airway management, emergency procedures, and bedside point-of-care ultrasound. He also brings strong experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, patient flow, and disaster management.
