TVH Grand Rounds Highlights Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s Paediatrics Program

The View Hospital, in affiliation with Cedars-Sinai, held a new session of TVH Grand Rounds focused on the paediatric services and clinical model of Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children’s. The session brought together physicians, nurses, and clinical staff from multiple departments for a comprehensive overview of the program’s structure, specialties, and approach to family-centred care.

The Grand Rounds featured three senior leaders from Guerin Children’s:

• Dr. Ophir Klein, Executive Vice Dean, Children’s Services, Academic Affairs, and Executive Director, Guerin Children’s
• Dr. Shervin Rabizadeh, Chair, Department of Paediatrics and Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology & Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Ms. Michelle Souza, Executive Director, Nursing, Women’s and Children’s Services

The speakers outlined how Guerin Children’s integrates advanced clinical services, research-driven practice, and a multidisciplinary care model to address complex paediatric needs. The session covered key paediatric specialties, expanded inpatient capabilities, and the operational framework supporting a child-friendly and family-focused environment.

By sharing Cedars-Sinai’s experience in developing a unified paediatric care ecosystem, the session provided valuable insights for strengthening paediatric services at The View Hospital.
