As part of our ongoing Expert Lecture Series, The View Hospital was pleased to host the second session titled “Trauma Therapy through the Lens of EMDR”, led by Dr. Lina Sadek, Clinical Psychologist.
The session brought together healthcare professionals for an engaging and insightful discussion on trauma therapy, with a special focus on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). The lecture explored the principles of EMDR, its clinical applications, and its role in supporting patients as they process traumatic experiences and move toward recovery.
Throughout the session, Dr. Lina highlighted the importance of evidence-based approaches in trauma care, emphasizing how structured therapeutic methods can help patients address the emotional and psychological impact of trauma in a safe and guided manner. The discussion also shed light on the practical use of EMDR in clinical settings and its contribution to comprehensive mental health support.
The lecture provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, professional dialogue, and reflection among participants, further reinforcing the importance of continuous learning and collaboration within the healthcare community.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Lina Sadek for leading this informative session, and to all attendees who contributed to making the lecture both engaging and impactful.
