The View Hospital and Ooredoo Sign Strategic MoU to Advance Integrated and Technology-Driven Healthcare in Qatar

Doha, Qatar

Ooredoo, Qatar's leading telecommunications provider, and The View Hospital, in affiliation with Cedars-Sinai, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a new strategic collaboration. The MoU aims to leverage Ooredoo's advanced telecom, cloud, and AI infrastructure to advance innovation in the areas of digital transformation, AI services, healthcare access, and public awareness. The agreement, signed on 6 August 2025, also includes the addition of services from the Korean Medical Center, further expanding the scope and impact of the partnership.

This MoU symbolises the shared commitment of both organisations to enhance healthcare delivery, broaden access to specialised services, and drive innovation through the integration of telecommunications and medical expertise. The collaboration focuses on four core pillars: healthcare services, marketing and promotions, information technology (IT), and fostering innovation.

In the area of healthcare services, Ooredoo and The View Hospital aim to enhance patient care by expanding diagnostic and specialised treatment offerings, promoting preventive health through regular screenings, and facilitating early detection. Both parties will co-organise health events, workshops, and awareness programmes to educate the public. The integration of screening services with telecom platforms will also allow for more convenient access for patients across Qatar.

The partnership will focus on joint campaigns and co-branded initiatives to raise awareness about the services offered by The View Hospital and its affiliate medical centres, with a particular focus on Ooredoo subscribers. These efforts will be supported by the development of tailored marketing strategies and materials designed to reach key target audiences.

The collaboration also leverages Ooredoo's robust IT and cloud infrastructure to support The View Hospital's digital healthcare systems. Both organisations will explore hosting services for healthcare applications and databases, while ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient digital platforms to facilitate the delivery of advanced health services.

Furthermore, the partnership will foster innovation in digital health, telemedicine, and patient care. Through joint research and development efforts, and by sharing knowledge and best practices, Ooredoo and The View Hospital will work together to improve healthcare outcomes and create a more connected, patient-centric healthcare environment in Qatar.

Commenting on the partnership, Thani Ali I A Al-Malki, Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Ooredoo Qatar, said: "We are proud of our partnership with The View Hospital and welcome the inclusion of Korean Medical Center services. This collaboration reflects Ooredoo's commitment to enriching people's lives through technology. By combining our digital capabilities with The View Hospital's world-class medical expertise, we are taking a strategic step toward a more accessible, innovative, and patient-focused healthcare future for all in Qatar."

Dr. Fatih Mehmet Gul, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The View Hospital, commented: "Through this strategic collaboration with Ooredoo, The View Hospital and the Korean Medical Center are bringing together world-class medical expertise and advanced digital technologies to enhance patient care across Qatar. We are proud that this partnership supports connecting with a wider and more discerning patient community, while fostering a more connected, patient-focused healthcare ecosystem."

The MoU highlights Ooredoo's commitment to supporting national development through digital innovation and marks a significant step towards setting new standards for technology-enabled healthcare in Qatar.
