Cedars-Sinai Leads Grand Round Session on Laboratory Excellence at The View Hospital

As part of The View Hospital’s continuous commitment to advancing clinical quality and laboratory standards, a distinguished delegation from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles visited the hospital to lead a two-day engagement focused on CAP accreditation and histopathology excellence.

The highlight of the visit was the Grand Round Session titled “Overview of Cedars-Sinai Laboratory Services,” presented by:

• Dr. David P. Frishberg, M.D., Professor and Chair, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
• Dr. Anders H. Berg, M.D., PhD, Professor and Vice Chair, Clinical Pathology and CLIA Director

Held on May 28th, 2025, the session gathered physicians, lab specialists, and healthcare leaders from The View Hospital for an in-depth exploration of Cedars-Sinai’s laboratory frameworks, quality standards, and operational excellence.

The two-day program also included collaborative workshops, technical reviews, and a mock CAP inspection — all contributing to The View Hospital’s readiness for international accreditation and commitment to delivering world-class diagnostic services.
