Yannis Angouras, MHA, ACHE, is an international healthcare executive with more than two decades of experience leading complex healthcare organizations across North America, Europe, and the Gulf region. He has served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Deputy CEO for leading healthcare systems including Kaiser Permanente, Universal Health Services, Aldara Hospital (Henry Ford Health Joint Venture), and hospitals of the Greek National Health System. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for transforming organizations, aligning stakeholders, strengthening financial and clinical performance, advancing innovation, and creating sustainable growth while maintaining a steadfast focus on patients, physicians, and communities.
Beyond healthcare leadership, Yannis is deeply committed to community service and economic development. He has supported programs serving homeless populations in Los Angeles, championed initiatives that promote minority-owned businesses, and served in governance roles including Trustee of the California Hospital Association and Board Member of the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. As an entrepreneur and investor, he founded and successfully exited two healthcare companies and maintained an active interest in capital markets and long-term value creation.
