Neck Procedures
The cervical spine enables head movement and carries nerves that control arm and leg function. Common issues include herniated discs, degeneration, and stenosis, causing pain, stiffness, numbness, or weakness. Most cases are treated without surgery, but when needed, advanced methods like artificial disc replacement and microsurgery are used.
Middle Back Procedures

Professor Ameen Al-Herabi is a highly respected authority in head & neck and thyroid surgery with over two decades of distinguished clinical, academic, and leadership experience. He completed his specialty training at the University of Ottawa, Canada, attaining the Canadian Board in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (2003), followed by advanced subspecialty training in thyroid and head & neck surgery in the United States, earning American Board Certification (2005).

Recognized as one of the region’s leading thyroid surgeons, Professor Al-Herabi has performed over 1,200 complex thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. For more than seventeen years, he led as Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the International Medical Center in Jeddah, establishing advanced surgical programs and elevating clinical standards.

In parallel to his clinical excellence, Professor Al-Herabi has held key academic roles, including Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Umm Al-Qura University and Consultant Professor at both King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center in Jeddah—two of Saudi Arabia’s most prestigious medical institutions.

He is a published author and researcher, contributing to medical literature and advancing surgical techniques within his specialty. His dedication to education and research ensures that he continues to mentor the next generation of surgeons and contribute to global medical discourse.

Professor Al-Herabi holds active memberships in numerous local, regional, and international societies in head & neck and thyroid surgery, further underlining his role as a leader in the global surgical community.
