Neck Procedures
The cervical spine enables head movement and carries nerves that control arm and leg function. Middle Back Procedures

Dr. Valeria Costa is a Senior Consultant in Gastroenterology currently serving at The View Hospital. She is a highly experienced gastroenterologist and endoscopist with international training across Europe, North and South America, and Asia.

She previously served as a Gastroenterology Consultant and academic faculty member at Hospital Universitario San Ignacio in Bogotá, Colombia, a leading tertiary care center, where she contributed to both clinical practice and medical education.

Dr. Costa holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Endoscopy from Hospital Clínic of Barcelona and has specialized training in swallowing disorders. She is recognized for her expertise in advanced endoscopic and minimally invasive bariatric procedures.

She was among the first specialists in Colombia to perform endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty and post-bariatric endoscopic revision procedures using the OverStitch system. In addition to her clinical work, she is an active contributor to medical research, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
