Neck Procedures
The cervical spine enables head movement and carries nerves that control arm and leg function. Middle Back Procedures

Dr. Muthana Sartawi is a leading orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive total joint replacement surgery, with over 15 years of experience spanning North America and the Middle East. As Director of the Rapid Recovery Joint Replacement Center at King’s College Hospital London, Dubai, Dr. Sartawi pioneered same-day discharge joint replacement surgery in both Central Illinois and the GCC region, offering patients faster recovery with minimal discomfort.

Dr. Sartawi completed his orthopedic fellowship in adult reconstruction at the prestigious Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, one of the world's leading centers for joint replacement. His clinical expertise is complemented by extensive academic roles, including Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and leadership positions such as Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at Christie Clinic, Illinois, and Director of the OSF Joint Care Center of Excellence.

He has performed over 2,500 knee replacement surgeries with a 97% success rate, and his innovative Modified Intervastus Approach—a minimally invasive knee replacement technique avoiding muscle and tendon cutting—has been published in peer-reviewed journals and adopted globally for its superior patient outcomes.
