Dr. Maria Isabel Canut Jordana is a highly respected ophthalmologist with over three decades of expertise in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She currently serves as Head of the Glaucoma Department at Oftalvist Clinic, Barcelona, and is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at The View Hospital, Doha.
Throughout her career, Dr. Maria has held pivotal roles, including over 20 years as Head of the Glaucoma Department at Barraquer Ophthalmology Center, where she trained numerous surgeons as a Surgeon Instructor and Academic Professor.
Her leadership extends to her roles as President of the Catalan Society of Ophthalmology and Vice President of the Spanish Glaucoma Society, where she contributes to the advancement of ophthalmic care both nationally and internationally.
