Brief Profile

Dr. Joud Al-Hourani is currently serving as a Specialist in Ophthalmology at The View Hospital in Qatar. She is a distinguished ophthalmologist with advanced subspecialty training in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery. A graduate of the Hashemite University in Jordan, she holds the prestigious FRCS (Ophth) from Glasgow and is certified by the Arab Board of Ophthalmology.

She completed her fellowship at the Jordanian Royal Medical Services, where she gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of anterior segment conditions. Her clinical services include cataract and refractive surgeries, as well as corneal treatments such as cross-linking for keratoconus. Dr. Joud also performs pterygium surgery and various minor eyelid procedures.

In addition to her surgical expertise, Dr. Joud has a strong interest in pediatric ophthalmology and provides comprehensive eye care for children with strabismus, developmental issues, and visual concerns.

She is an active member of several international ophthalmology societies and is highly regarded for her surgical precision, patient-centered approach, and commitment to excellence in eye care.
