Neck Procedures
The cervical spine enables head movement and carries nerves that control arm and leg function. Common issues include herniated discs, degeneration, and stenosis, causing pain, stiffness, numbness, or weakness. Most cases are treated without surgery, but when needed, advanced methods like artificial disc replacement and microsurgery are used.
Middle Back Procedures
This part of the spine supports torso movement and contains nerves affecting balance and leg function. Common problems include degeneration, stenosis, and tumors, leading to back pain, balance issues, or bladder/bowel problems. Minimally invasive techniques can often resolve these conditions.
Lower Back Procedures
The lumbar spine carries body weight, enables movement, and houses nerves for leg and bladder function. Dr. Ihab Abutabanjeh is a highly experienced consultant urologist specializing in advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery, with a subspecialty background in urologic oncology. Before joining The View Hospital, he served as Senior Consultant and Head of Robotic and Laparoscopic Urology across three hospitals in Germany, including two renowned university hospitals.

With extensive experience as a urologist and minimally invasive/robotic surgeon, Dr. Ihab has demonstrated exceptional leadership in establishing and leading robotic urology programs. Over the course of his career, he has successfully completed more than 1500 robotic procedures, reflecting deep expertise across a wide range of urologic surgeries.

In addition to his clinical achievements, Dr. Ihab has been actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the advancement of robotic urology, earning recognition as a respected educator and surgeon within the medical community.
