Dr. Ali Kanaan is a Consultant in ENT at The View Hospital, bringing over 13 years of clinical and surgical experience. He obtained his MBChB from the College of Medicine, University of Basra in 2002 and was awarded his Swedish medical license in 2012. He began his specialist training in ENT in 2013, practicing across several Swedish hospitals including Mälarsjukhuset Hospital and Örebro University Hospital, where he gained extensive exposure to advanced ENT practice.
Dr. Ali’s principal areas of expertise are rhinology and facial trauma surgery. He is proficient in a wide range of sinonasal procedures, including septoplasty and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). His leadership as Head of the Facial Fracture Section at Mälarsjukhuset Hospital for three years highlights his strong commitment to trauma care, during which he managed complex craniofacial cases and advanced multidisciplinary collaboration. His subspecialty expertise was further expanded through cooperative work with Karolinska University Hospital, enhancing his skills in facial fracture surgery.
