Neck Procedures

Most cases are treated without surgery, but when needed, advanced methods like artificial disc replacement and microsurgery are used.
Middle Back Procedures
This part of the spine supports torso movement and contains nerves affecting balance and leg function. Common problems include degeneration, stenosis, and tumors, leading to back pain, balance issues, or bladder/bowel problems. Minimally invasive techniques can often resolve these conditions.
Lower Back Procedures

Brief Profile

Dr. Ahmad Muneer Otri is currently serving as a Senior Consultant in Ophthalmology at The View Hospital in Qatar. He specializes in Glaucoma and Cataract surgeries and has been in the field since 2002, with extensive medical and surgical training in the UK.

Dr. Muneer graduated from the medical school of the University of Aleppo, Syria, and completed his core Ophthalmology training at Damascus University Hospital, Syria. In 2007, he moved to the UK to pursue a PhD and a clinical research fellowship in Cornea and anterior segment diseases at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.

He also completed an honorary fellowship in Oculoplastic surgery at Birmingham Eye Centre, UK, and later joined the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire as a Specialty Doctor.

In 2019, Dr. Muneer undertook the prestigious Queens Medical Centre Glaucoma fellowship, focusing on modern and minimally invasive surgical and laser techniques. He was subsequently appointed as a Glaucoma Consultant at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire.

Dr. Muneer is an expert in modern Glaucoma treatments, including LASER treatment, Trabeculectomy surgery, Tube surgery, and minimally invasive Glaucoma surgery (MIGS), as well as routine and complex Cataract surgeries with excellent outcomes. He is among the very few in Qatar proficient in performing minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). His expertise in this advanced technique allows for safer, more precise treatment options for glaucoma patients, emphasizing his commitment to providing cutting-edge care.

Dr. Muneer was nominated for The World-Class Colleague Award in 2021 and 2022 at Coventry University Hospital, UK. Additionally, he was nominated for outstanding service and care award at Coventry University Hospital, UK , in 2021, 2022. 2023 and 2024. He has 27 publications in peer-reviewed journals, with five as the first author.
