Neck Procedures

as strabismus, amblyopia, congenital eye issues, and vision problems, providing compassionate, family-centered care that supports children’s visual development.

She completed her fellowship in ophthalmology at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, trained in ophthalmology at the Bristol Eye Hospital in the UK, and pursued further fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in the UK. She also obtained a Master’s in International Health Management from the University of Essex.

With more than 20 years of clinical experience at Hamad Medical Corporation, Dr. Ayda has gained extensive expertise in the medical and surgical management of complex eye conditions in children. Her clinical practice includes squint surgeries, probing and intubation of nasolacrimal duct obstruction, chalazion removal, and examinations under anesthesia.

Dr. Ayda is also passionate about patient education, vision screening programs, and research in pediatric eye health. She actively contributes to initiatives that promote early detection and timely treatment of eye diseases in children, supporting both their vision and overall development.
